Objectives

The definition of operational objectives for the proposed Marine Protected Areas Network and the relevant Spatial Plan in consultation with relevant stakeholders and based on EU directives and international scientific practices.

Description

In order to define the operational objectives of the Project, we will be contact and consult the Public Administration, responsible for the implementation of Directives 92/43/EEC, 2009/147/EC, 2008/56/EC and 2014/89/EC but also related stakeholders. The guidelines for the implementation of European Directives will be followed as well as good international practices. The set operational objectives will be used in WP-7 in order to design a network of marine protected areas.
