Drosos Koutsoubas is Professor of Marine Biology Department of the University of the Aegean.
He has participated or controls a large number of European and National Research Projects, specializing in structure, operation, protection and management of marine ecosystems and their biological resources, cooperating with many International and National Research Centres.
His published research work includes more than 70 scientific papers in international journals with referees and Book Chapters - Scientific Publications and more than 100 papers in Greek and International Conferences with referees.
Since 2010 he is Chairman of the Board the Management Body of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos (www.nmpz.org) and Member of the Scientific Committee of the Marine Protected Areas Network of Mediterranean MedPAN (www.medpan.org) as National Representative.
