Lene Buhl-Mortensen (Dr. scient.) Is senior scientist in the team Benthic Habitats of IMR.
She has 30 years of experience in the study of benthic populations and the relationships between environmental quality and biodiversity.
She has > 50 publications in international journals and has participated in several European research programs (eg SPICOSA, MESMA, BENTHIS).
The period 2001-2003 was a visiting-researcher on a project for the ecosystems of coral in the Atlantic coast of Canada, the period 2003-2005 has coordinated a program for the response of benthic ecosystems of the Norwegian fjords to hypoxia, and the period 2007-2010 was coordinator of marine mapping program MAREANO.
